MYOGI TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

  • Payment in advance is required to book a session. This is a policy I have as a lone worker and also due to the amount of work that goes into planning ahead of each session.

  • Once we have agreed on a time & date for your session I will hold that space for you for 48 hours.

  • Once payment is received you will get a booking confirmation and be sent the health from to complete from which your first session will be planned.

  • If payment is not received within 48 hrs you may still be able to book that session but the time/date will also be released as bookable to other students.

  • If you need to cancel your booking, please give at least 24hrs notice.

  • Cancellations within the 24hr period will be charged at full rate. In the rare event of my having to cancel your session, you will be offered alternative dates. If a mutually convenient time can not be arranged, you will receive a full refund.

  • Payment by bank transfer.

  • If you have Covid-19 symptoms or a positive Covid-19 test after booking your session, please let me know and we can rearrange your session for a later date.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS…

  1. Where is your studio? My garden studio is a short walk from Hitchin town centre. As it's part of my home, I don't display the address on this site for security reasons, but will give you all the details upon booking. There is a dedicated parking space that you can use.

  2. What do I need to bring to a session? I have mats, blankets, props and water, but obviously feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer. Please note: I currently do not have a separate changing room so please come already dressed for your session. In terms of clothing, please dress for comfort. Leggings or sweatpants for women, and sweatpants or shorts for men. Fitted tee shirts or vests work best, otherwise they end up over your head the first time you do a forward fold!

  3. Will you come to my house/workplace? Of course. I am happy to discuss holding lessons in other locations. These would incur a higher cost depending on travel times.

  4. Are there any studio rules? I only ask that you leave your shoes at the door (myogi operates a no-shoe policy which keeps the environment clean).

  5. Do you sell gift vouchers? Currently, no.

  6. Do you have changing rooms/toilets? No, but you would be permitted to use the house facilities if needed.

  7. Is there dedicated parking? There is plenty of street parking but please note that there are enforced restrictions between 11-12pm & 2-3pm.

  8. I'm interested but I'm not sure I'm fit enough/bendy enough/ young enough..... Please don't worry. With yoga, you start from where you are. The beauty of my class is that it will be tailored to you personally.

  9. Block bookings If you want to book a particular time/day each week, you can make a block booking if there is availability. Please be aware sessions are in high demand, so block booking is recommended to secure your preferred session time and day. A preliminary session must be taken before booking a block.

  10. Ok - I'm signed up for a session - what happens next? Before your first session you will be asked to complete an online health questionnaire. I will then take you through a 60 min session, combining limbering, posture work and breathing exercises, to ascertain the level from which you will be progressing. From there on the sessions will be tailor-made to your requirements. I can't wait to meet you on your mat. x
