Imagine a yoga practice that's been created just for you...that has at it’s heart your unique biology and biography.

This is what makes Myogi different from a group class. Regardless of your age, body shape, flexibility or percieved ability, I can show you how to incorporate yoga into your life in a way that will allow you to see rewarding physical and emotional benefits.   Maybe you are a beginner, or managing a chronic injury or illness?  Maybe you are pregnant, post-natal or navigating menopause?  Perhaps you play a sport but get frequently injured or feel inflexible?  Or it could be that you've always wanted to start a yoga practice but feel that a group class just isn't right for you.

In-person or online - the choice is yours.

Created for just for you…

Maybe you are intimidated by big yoga studios and want to learn the basics before trying out a larger yoga class? Or perhaps you are recovering from an injury and want to help nurture your body back to full strength with a tailored yoga programme suited specifically to your needs. You might want to gain physical strength in certain yoga poses, or find ways to make hard poses work for you.  Or you might feel overwhelmed by a busy lifestyle and looking to find ways to slow down and reconnect your mind and body in a nurturing, supportive space.  These are all reasons why students practice yoga with me at the Myogi studio or via zoom in their own homes.

Please have a look at the testimonials at the bottom of the page to see what students, past and present, are saying about myogi, as well as my Facebook page.

I can help you develop a yoga practice that will support the life you lead, starting from where you are physically and emotionally at this moment in your life.

The Myogi Method…

Over the years that I have been teaching I’ve facilitated hundreds of 1-2-1s. Interestingly, it’s how yoga was historically taught - group classes didn’t exist. I teach out of passion, out of love, and from a need to share and help people. Myogi has grown from just a business name I liked, to a method in itself. It started out as a yoga practice and naturally evolved into so much more.

It became evident to me through working with people 1-2-1 that physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing could arise through many forms and my classes began to take on a style of their own as reflected through each individual student who came to visit my studio.  Although they may begin from a common thread, each person’s practice is unique in that most of it manifests from what the individual brings to it in terms of health, needs, attitude and commitment.

It is often said that you are your own best teacher. In this sense I offer myself as a knowledgeable guide to help you develop your yoga practice, meshing yoga with movement and wellness techniques to help you to feel the true essence of yourself. Where we take lessons from yoga we honour the great tradition from which we are gratefully borrowing wisdom and to it we add the wisdom present in our own bodies in order to create a peaceful and healthy life. This is a movement and wellbeing practice that honours what it is to be you.
